Lessons
I provide well-structured driving lessons, which build on your existing skills.
Every lesson has an objective which is introduced at the begining and re-capped at the end.
Lesson plans are freely given to aid your develpoment and understanding, and an ongoing record of each lesson is kept and used as progression through the course is made.
Progress will be made through a process of visual and practical instruction and discussion.
This will enable you to drive in a safe, confident manner.
The Test
Between us we will monitor your progress at different points during the course, and a series of mock-tests will prepare you for your test.
The number of lessons you require, will depend on your ability to grasp the concepts of driving, including observation, awareness, and forward planning.
Special Cases
The pass plus is a training scheme for new drivers, designed by the Driving Standards Agency, in conjunction with the motor insurance and driving instructor industries."
"Pass Plus consists of a minimum of six hours training and the emphasis is on developing your practical driving skills."
The lessons include town driving, all weather driving, rural driving, night driving, dual carriageways and motorway driving.
There is no test for the Pass Plus scheme, but on completion a certificate will be awarded, which will allow discounts on insurance for new drivers.
If you have passed your test, but not driven for a while, I can help. The first lesson will take the form of an assessment of your ability. We can then discuss what you require.
An intensive course requires a great deal of patience and the ability to concentrate for long periods of time. For those willing to progress through the course quicker, I suggest a semi-intensive course whereby lessons are spread over consecutive days and weeks. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
